What we inspect
Outside the home
We check visible brickwork, external finishes and rainwater goods for defects and unfinished work.
Inside the home
We check accessible doors, windows, joinery and tiling for damage and poor finishes.
Roofs and lofts
We inspect visible roofing and accessible loft areas for defects.
Cracks and finishes
We record visible cracking and defects in finishes. This is not a structural design assessment.
Fittings
We check accessible kitchen units and sanitary fittings for visible damage and poor installation.
Inspection limits
The inspection covers visible, accessible areas. It does not replace building control approval or a warranty inspection. Concealed defects and specialist testing are outside the scope.
